Internal links connect one page on your website to another. Used well, they help readers discover related content and make your site easier to navigate.
Create topic clusters
Group related posts around a larger topic. For example, an AI tools hub can link to writing tools, image tools, video tools, comparisons, and tutorials.
Link where it helps the reader
Do not add links randomly. Place them where a reader naturally needs more explanation, a comparison, or the next step.
Use descriptive anchor text
Instead of writing “click here,” describe the destination, such as “our WordPress launch checklist.”
Update old posts
When you publish a new article, find older relevant posts and link to the new page. This helps new content become part of the site structure quickly.
Avoid overloading paragraphs
Too many links can make content distracting. Prioritize the most useful next steps.
